This election is not only historic but also a testimony of how far the USA has come in terms of race relations in the past 40 years. I am very pleased to note that people of my generation and those of my daughter's generation have embraced others culture as a piece of their own. Electing an African-American (of mixed race) as the leader of the USA helps offset the notion that America is ruled by an imaginary few. The voice of the mass would have spoken loud and clear!
